TCB Jeans ‘50’s’ 13oz. Unsanforized Japanese Selvede Jeans (Regular Straight)
TCB's take on the 1950's era Levi's 501. Mid-high rise, slightly roomy around the seat and thigh with a straight leg down to the hem.
Made from rope dyed Zimbabwe cotton, the 13.5oz fabric is dark, slubby and neppy. The fabric is thoughtfully made on vintage looms and is meant to closely match those from the 1950's.
The washed version is mostly shrunk but due to the nature of the fabric, may stretch a bit, especially around the waist.
Faithful in detail, form the stitch count and sewing machines used, to the hardware and features such as the paper patch and hidden rivets, these jeans showcase TCB's knowledge and expertise when it comes to vintage denim.
